Security & Reliability of SatoshiPool

July 27, 2026 Security

Whether you are new to Bitcoin puzzle mining or an experienced GPU miner, you want to know one thing: is my reward safe? Here is how SatoshiPool protects you.

Split-Key: No One Has the Full Key

This is our most important security feature. The private key is split into two halves. You get one half, the pool operator holds the other. Neither side alone can access the Bitcoin.

How it works: Your GPU finds half the key. The server holds the other half. Only when both halves are combined can the full private key be formed. This happens automatically when a match is found.

Server: Behind Locked Doors

The pool server is not exposed directly to the internet. It sits behind a secure gateway. Think of it like a bank vault — customers interact through a secure window.

What If Someone Hacks the Server?

Even in the worst case — a hacker gains access — your rewards stay safe.

Found keys are encrypted the same way Bitcoin Core protects wallet.dat files. The encryption password is not on the server. It is stored on a physical pendrive that stays disconnected from the server. The password is over 20 random characters long — cracking it would take longer than the universe has existed.

Fair Rewards: No Cheating

The server does not trust anyone. It calculates exactly how many keys each miner scanned based on the assigned work. No one can inflate their numbers.

Your Privacy

Your rewards are protected at every level. Split-key technology, encrypted storage, fair reward calculation, and full privacy. Ready to start? Join SatoshiPool or ask on Telegram.
